A New Day for MSA Exhibitions begins in 2026 — creating more opportunities for Manitoba artists to exhibit their work!


As part of Vision 125, the MSA is expanding to three annual juried exhibitions:

  1.  the MSA 94th Open Juried Competition and Exhibition (OJCE),

  2.  the new MSA Members Exhibition, and

  3.  the new MSA Signature Exhibition.

OPEN to All MSA Members

Artist choice to exhibit in gallery and online, or just online

Important Dates:

Call Opens:  May 6, 2026
Submission Deadline:  May 24, (at 11:59 PM) *CLOSED*

Results: Artists will be notified of their submission results during the first week of June.

Drop-off: June 10, 2026 - 10am - noon
Exhibition Online:  June 11, 2026

Exhibition: June 11-29 at the Centennial Concert Hall, Piano Nobile Gallery

Opening Reception, Awards Event & Juror Lecture: June 11 - 7:00-8:30pm (doors open at 6:30pm)

Pick-up: July 29, 2026 - 10am - noon

Jurors: Jennifer Caie AFCA SCA, Christine Code SCA, Joseph Koensgen MSA SCA, Rosalie Olson MSA SCA, Louise Renée, MSA SCA

Commission: Manitoba Centennial Concert Hall retains a 25% commission on sales.

Size Limit: Longest side can not exceed 40 inches (including frame)

Registration Fees and Number of Artwork Submissions:

MSA Associates:  $55 (3 artworks)

Signature Members:  $40 (3 artworks)

 

MSA Members Exhibition Entry and Associate Membership:  $105 (3 artworks). Membership is valid through August 31, 2027.

Payment is made by e-Transfer to: submit@manitobaartists.com

MSA 1st Award of Distinction - $1,000

MSA 2nd Award of Distinction - $500

MSA Technical Excellence Award - $350

MSA Artistic Expression Award - $350

MSA Creative Innovation Award - $350

Honourable Mention Awards - $150 × 3

MSA Signature Exhibition

The MSA Signature Exhibition will be presented for the first time in 2026.  This premier exhibition is open exclusively to MSA Signature Members. The exhibition will be presented in gallery and online in October–November 2026. Submission details and jurors will be announced soon.

Piano Nobile Gallery

Centennial Concert Hall, Winnipeg Manitoba

The Manitoba Society of Artists (MSA) is pleased to announce we continue as curator with the Centennial Concert Hall for the Art Exhibitions that are held in the Piano Nobile Gallery.  The Piano Nobile Gallery is booked into 2027.  We are not currently accepting applications.

The next call for exhibitions for the Piano Nobile Gallery will be in fall/winter 2026.

The Manitoba Society of Artists is proud to introduce its Nationally Accredited Juror Pool — a growing group of MSA Signature Members with national accreditation who serve as jurors for exhibitions and membership. This ensures Signature-level adjudication and reinforces the MSA’s commitment to fairness, integrity, and transparency.
