Fairness, Integrity, and Transparency
Associate Membership
All new artist applicants begin by applying for Associate Membership. Once the application and fee have been received, they are forwarded for approval and the artist becomes an Associate Member.
To apply:

pay the $50 non-refundable application and initial membership fee by e-Transfer to submit@manitobaartists.com
Associate Membership through the end of the current membership year is included. MSA’s membership year runs from September 1 to August 31, and annual membership renewal is due August 31.
Signature Membership
Associates are welcome to submit an application to be juried into Signature Membership. Associates receive one free application per year, a second attempt is $75.
The Call for Signature Membership is typically held twice each year.
In 2026, the calls were held in January and July.
MSA members will be notified by email when the next call is announced. You can also follow us on Instagram or check back here on our website for updates.
Honourary Life Membership
Honourary Life Membership is a distinguished category awarded to Signature Members who have rendered longstanding and/or exemplary service to the MSA.

Honourary Life Members are elected by the Executive.

Nominations for Honourary Life Members can be made by emailing the Executive.
Supporting Membership
Supporting Membership is for non-artists, individuals, or organizations who wish to be our allied supporters.
