We have expanded our membership to include four distinct categories, making it easier than ever for artists at every stage to find their place and connect with peers who share their enthusiasm for creativity. These categories ensure a welcoming environment for emerging and professional artists, as well as allied supporters who appreciate the visual arts.

All new artists must first apply for Associate Membership.

Associates are eligible to apply for Signature Membership.

Honourary Life Members are elected by the Executive based on outstanding contributions.

Supporting Membership is for non-artists, individuals, or organizations who wish to be our allied supporters.
Manitoba is our Home ... the MSA is our Place
The MSA welcomes applications from emerging and professional artists across various genres, styles, and media.
You can apply for Associate or Supporting Membership at any time during the year.
The Call for Signature Membership happens twice a year.
